Wai`anae Moku Navigators is a 501(c)(3) community planning and developement corporation serving the community from Kahe to Ka'ena — building a more resilient, healthier, and sustainable Wai'anae Coast together.
Our Beginnings
Wai`anae Moku Navigators is a 501(c)(3) community planning and development corporation created to serve the community from Kahe to Ka`ena, also known as the Wai`anae Moku.
The historical basis for Wai`anae Moku Navigators is aticulated in a 2015 Waianae Moku planning document identifying, as a strategic priority, the need to “create an ongoing, sustainable and long-term community planning entity to take responsibility for community planning and community development needs on the Wai`anae Coast.”
Our Vision
All Wai`anae Coast residents have the power to create and share information using their unique experiences, backgrounds, and talents to build a more resilient, healthier, and sustainable community.
Our Mission
Work with community organizations, agencies, and groups to identify community development priorities and address these priorities utilizing existing community resources, facilitating collaborations, and building new partnerships, and when necessary, by creating new initiatives.
